GREATER WILD COAST TOUR

Pick up from Durban and drive to Mbotyi River Lodge. This is a 5 hour drive with stops on the way. We will stop at Mpenjati Cofee. From Mpenjati we will continue our trip and start the Wild Coast driving through the towns of Bizana, (Winnie Mandela and Oliver Tambo's home Town), Flagstaff and Lusikisiki and later  check inn at  your lodge where you will have dinner and spend a night. On arrival at the lodge you will have time to walk on the beach and enjoy sunset.

This day we will drive and take a tour of the area where we will visit about 4 waterfalls that includes Fraser's Waterfall, Angels Water Fall and Magwa Waterfalls. We will also visit Magwa Tea Plantation factory on week days. We will also enjoy our lunch offered by the lodge looking at one of the waterfalls. Later go and relax at the lodge and also have sometime to take a walk on the beach. Dinner will be at the lodge.

Drive from Mbotyi to Port St John’s and take a tour of Port St John’s and later drive to Coffee Bay with a stop at Nelson Mandela Museum in Mthatha. From Mthatha we will drive to Coffee Bay enjoying beautiful scenery and rolling hills of the Wild Coast. Check inn at your lodge. If this falls on a Friday we will enjoy a Village Dinner with the local family or enjoy Sundowners with a beautiful view looking at the sea and watching the  sun going down on the other side.

After breakfast we will drive or walk to Hole in The Wall (The walk is very beautiful and need a certain level of fitness, you will have a guide walking with you) and later drive back to the hotel to relax for the afternoon and guests can spend time on the beach.

After breakfast we will drive to Qunu where we will visit the village of Nelson Mandela. On our arrival we will check in at the village home stay and meet with a guide for a guided tour of the village up to the Nelson Mandela Youth and Heritage Centre which is the site for the first school of Nelson Mandela and a play ground for the Young Nelson Mandela. We will also visit a site for the first school where Nelson Mandela was given the name Nelson. Back to the village for lunch and enjoy a beer with the locals at a local shebeen and later check in to the village home stay with dinner. 

Afte village breakfast we will drive through the village of Mvezo via Morgan bay by crossing Kei River through the Ferry and stop at Morgan Bay for lunch. after lunch we will stop at the Morgan Bay cliff before we drive to Cintsa for a night
